When the warrior Dakhanee is rendered temporarily blind, Kole is forced to take the helm of a group of warriors who successfully attack a Hudson’s Bay fort, setting it afire and sending the occupants upriver to tell the other white men that they are not welcome in Tlingit territory. They return with the captured Union Jack flag.
