In Bihar, India's poorest state, Stefan joins a particular sub-caste known as Rat-Eaters. He joins them in the fields, living up to their name – catching, roasting and eating rats. Stefan also tracks down an upper caste army and joins them on a patrol of the landowners' fields hunting for Dalit stealing grain, and heads to Mumbai to experience the high life.
