So you think you are clean and green ..... well what about your bodily waste? Who takes care of that? Alan Leckie from Forest Research in Christchurch NZ has come up with a plan to use our solid waste (arghhh!) as a fertilizer for trees, effectively turning our waste from a difficult problem into a useful resource. Trees also help to remove the most environmentally harmful elements from the biosolids which is just another reason that they are so important! Follow that turd! |
