In this programme presenter Jayne Constantinis investigates two very different Mexican cities. The vast capital Mexico City is possibly the largest city in the world. The programme discovers how this 'mega city' is tackling the major environmental problems it faces, including recent successful measures to curb air pollution. Right on the border with the USA, we also get a taste of 'Tex-Mex' in the fast growing city of Tijuana. Fuelled by cross border migration, trade and industry, the city and its people bear a fascinating cultural mix of American and Mexican. |
