Following the international success of The Planets(also available from McNabb Connolly), Hyperspace is a landmark BBC science series, taking viewers out of our solar system and into galaxies beyond. It is hard to comprehend just how immense the universe is and yet Hyperspace will take us past the final frontier, on a voyage to explore the extraordinary phenomena that form the universe. Three-dimensional graphic techniques especially developed for the series take viewers to places that are otherwise inaccessible. They will stand on the surface of a previously unexplored planet; interact with the surface of the sun; experience the immense gravitational pull of a black hole, so strong it could crush a star ten million times the weight of the Earth to the size of a pea.
