Winter is over and in the spring sunshine, the animals start to show off their new babies. Both Vixen and Lady Blue have cubs, but sadly Mole has not survived. Badger cannot accept his death. With no Warden to stop them, the poachers return and take their revenge on a blue fox. Scarface blames Fox and sends Weasel with a threat of death. When the poachers return yet again, the deer herd and the Farthing Wood animals are ready, and in an awesome charge of thundering hooves, the evil humans are driven into the safe custody of the Warden who has just arrived back, fully recovered from his illness.
